Ottawa Sun Scramble: Kick-Off Day at Falcon Ridge

The party is on again at Falcon Ridge for Kick-Off Day!


9:20am	A Morning Slammer Tour event! This is your chance to try out this fun and competitive match-play league. Rookies and veterans are welcome to join us! Click here for details.
10am	Ottawa Sun Scramble Media Challenge. Team 1200's Kenny Walls & Angry Al will try to defend their ownership of the enormous Régimbal Cup. See the line-up here...
Noon	An Afternoon Slammer Tour event! This is your chance to try out this fun and competitive match-play league. Rookies and veterans are welcome to join us! Click here for details.

2-5pm	Check out the Nike Demo Tent at the driving range. See what's new and try out the latest gear!
2-6pm	The Lindsay LePage Nike Putting Contest. Click here for details...
3:30-5pm	Media Challenge Media Meal in the Clubhouse.
4-5pm	CPGA Colin Orr's Skills Clinic ...at the driving range Colin Orr is the Ottawa Athletic Club's Director of Golf and he shares what he knows about the game as an 18-year member with the CPGA. *Very cool trick trick shots!* Colin covers a variety of topics, takes questions and "challenges" from the audience and performs a series of amazing trick shots - including dropping a ball from his mouth and whacking it deep into the driving range, hitting two balls at once and another burried under a coffee cup. He might even perform an "illusion" where everyone thinks he's hit a 280 yard bomb with the back side of his driver! *Don't miss it!*
4:45	Presentation of the Régimbal Cup to the 2010 Media Challenge Champions.
5pm	The Draws! Draws for the 8th Coors Light Million Dollar Ace Shooter and the lucky Make-A-Wish $5,000 putter (at the range). See the Coors Light Ace Shooters here...

5:15-5:30pm	The Make-A-Wish $5,000 Putt!
5:30-6pm	The Million Dollar Shots! The Coors Light Million Dollar Ace Shots: 8 lucky people get a shot at a shot that could change their life forever! Yes, you could be one of them! five lucky Ottawa Sun Scramble competitors one lucky Ottawa Sun contest winner one lucky Team 1200 radio contest winner one randomly-drawn person from everyone present at Falcon Ridge... it might be you!
6-7pm	Meet 'n Greet We'll have a nice little reception in Falcon Ridge's new clubhouse, complete with complimentary hors d'oevres, a cash bar, presentations and the official launch of 2010 Ottawa Sun Scramble City Championship Week.
