The Senior Open Championship is one of the tournament's original events, and moved to Talon at Greyhawk for round one in 2009. The top six teams after round one made the cut and went on to compete for the André Lacasse Cup on Championship Sunday.

Play to make the cut, then go for the title...

The Senior Open Championship is open to all players who meet the tournament qualifying criteria. Competitors do not require an official handicap and professional golfers are welcome (max. one per team).

Cut-lines and prizing

The top six teams after round one make the cut and go on to compete for the title on Championship Sunday at Eagle Creek Golf Club.

All teams that make the cut receive a complimentary Executive Golf Membership for the next season.

In addition to the title, trophy and sponsor prizes, the champions also win a complimentary Senior Open entry for the next Ottawa Sun Scramble City Championship.

Those who miss the cut receive a free round of golf, courtesy of Executive Golf.
